Joseph, a Kind Leader

This painting is one of a new series that shows the same Joseph at different stages of his life (T-863 and T-871-874). This particular painting shows Joseph in his 30's on the steps of the palace with 7 of his 11 brothers. Benjamin, the youngest brother, is approaching Joseph. The other brothers are either watching from nearby or talking to each other. All of the brothers whose faces are visible seem surprised.
